Your photographs are about you, not the photographer. As I take pictures, I make myself as invisible as possible; something I’ve learned in my 20+ years of photojournalistic experience, whether creating a portrait for a magazine or capturing the candor of a wedding kiss.
Children have taught me the importance of play, which is present in my photography in one way or another. Your life is not about the photographs, though; it’s about being present, in the moment, with your loved ones. The pictures happen as if by magic, showing up later on a carefully designed book, a photo album, or as a digital presentation, helping you remember the memories you created.
I look forward to playing with you.
